One-Time vs Monitoring

Why monitoring is the real product

A one-time audit tells you what your license waste looks like today. Monitoring tells you what it looks like over time — and that's the data Salesforce's own tools can't reconstruct after the fact.

Exemption / snooze management

Salesforce's LoginHistory expires after 6 months and can't be reconstructed. Every month you don't have monitoring is a month of renewal evidence permanently lost. Most pilots upgrade after their first audit because the one-time number raises more questions than it answers.

Common questions

Do I need to install anything in Salesforce?
Yes — a lightweight Connected App from SpendReady's AppExchange install URL (60 seconds, admin click-through). The package contains only the Connected App that enables read-only OAuth. No Apex, no custom objects, no business-data access. You then authorize the OAuth connection from getspendready.com.
What data do you access?
Read-only access to: User, UserLicense, LoginHistory, PermissionSetLicenseAssign, and PermissionSetLicense objects. We never read Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts, or any CRM data.
Who needs to authorize the connection?
The Salesforce user who connects SpendReady needs appropriate permissions — typically a Salesforce admin or a user with View Setup and Configuration access. This ensures the report has full visibility into user and license data.
How does historical data work?
Salesforce's native LoginHistory is limited to 6 months. SpendReady's Monitoring tier starts capturing snapshots from the moment you connect — so as your audit history grows, you build a trend baseline Salesforce's native 6-month window doesn't surface retroactively.
Can I share the PDF with people who don't have Salesforce logins?
Yes — that's the whole point. The PDF is designed to be forwarded to your CFO, VP Finance, or Procurement team. No Salesforce access required to read it.
Does the Monitoring tier stay under the $5K procurement threshold?
$399/month = $4,788/year — designed to sit below the $5K threshold that triggers Finance or Procurement approval at many companies, for a lightweight, team-level approval path. Procurement and vendor-review requirements vary by company.
What is Org Check and how is SpendReady different?
Org Check (Salesforce Labs) is a free in-org static analyzer for admins. SpendReady delivers a formatted, scheduled report packet to stakeholders outside Salesforce — CFO, RevOps, Procurement — with trend history and renewal-date framing. Different audience, different job.
